iNAKED: The Tumblr Presence: Choosing your words
One thing which I’ve noticed since becoming part of the nudist community on Tumblr is the strange comments made by some bloggers to accompany the photos they reblog.
Some are insightful or make a good point of repurposing the photo to make a particular point.

To add to this, I’ve seen quite a few pics that are of real nudists, or at least reasonably could be, but were reblogged from Tumblrs that have names that I certainly wouldn’t want to have people associating with nudism.
If I might respectfully make a suggestion: when you see a nice picture on a Tumblr that’s more sex-obsessed than nudist related, take a copy of the pic and upload it to your own page. Chances are extremely good the perv didn’t own the pic to begin with.

Agree fully. It’s amazing to me that we still have to point this out, but then I constantly see where the confusion is coming from.
I recently stopped following a Tumblr in which I almost always agreed with the text, but then the owner would solicit and post photo submissions of people who were clearly not nudists. They were either models of some stripe, or exhibitionists with the camera focused on their “naughty bits” and their head cropped out of the pic.
“Beware the headless nudist” became something of a mantra.

I thought the WNBR was dead in Austin because nudity wasn't permitted. If it's still safe to ride nude, I'll try to get there this year!!! (and of course, spend a few days at Hippie Hollow afterwards) You going?
I was rather surprised myself, both at that it had been held again there, and that there’d been several fully nude people. There were one or more people arrested, but it didn’t appear to have been over nudity. (Details are scant, but at least one eye witness said that they were also fully nude and in direct view of the arresting officers.)
Hell yes, I’m going. :-D Will likely make it a Hippie Hollow weekend as well.
